Hi Everybody:
What a time it is right now. We get to watch the three main candidates for President of the United States of America and hear what they have to say. When I listen to what they are saying, I must say that none of them impress me much. Why aren't they speaking honestly with us? It's obvious that they only say what they think we want to hear or in the case of Mr. McCain of evasiveness. Well, the only thing he's not evasive about is the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. He says he will keep us there until we win. Now that IS straight talk.....to bad he doesn't speak that way on other items of interest to US Citizens.
Now lately Mr. Obama has been in trouble because of a minister in his church. Well, there is no question that the guy is an outspoken character....maybe even a hater of our country. So it's obvious that Mr. Obama likes Mr. Wright in spite of some of the views the fellow has, so why not simply say so? Why won't he talk straight about it? We all have friends that are kind of nutty and off the wall sometimes so what? Honesty will pay off in the end. Why won't Clinton or Obama say that they really have not allot of control over things like "Universal Health Insurance". We all know that though they might attempt to do something along those lines that it won't happen if we don't have the money to do so and if Congress don't approve it. Mr. Bush had several plans that he tried to get through Congress but couldn't complete. One of them is the very necessary restructuring of the Social Security System so that some of the money go into accounts that our children could inherit if it was not spent. I wanted that so bad that I could taste it, but the Democratic Congress said "no." These candidates all act like being president would give them all power for all things..... I think Obama said something about Health Coverage for Africa and other countries at least once. Well, who is going to pay for all that stuff, even if we had the power to do it? Both he and Clinton say that they will bring the troops home from Iraq, I believe Obama indicates that he will more or less just cut and run out of there. What kind of a person would even talk about doing that? Clinton is talking a little more conservative about it but none-the-less she says she will bring them home soon. Well, tell me where will they all go when they come home as losers in that war? Will they stay in the service? If they are brought home by Obama or Clinton no doubt the army, navy and air force will be cut like Bill Clinton did when he was president. Remember when he almost wiped out the CIA and other intelligence agencies? I remember and he also destroyed lots of our bases in this country also, some of which continued to be cut by President Bush after he came into office. Even though they were scheduled to be cut I'll never know why Mr. Bush went ahead with that plan. Well, and if we are to bring the troops home why not bring them from Korea also? From Germany and the rest of Europe too...? I think Mr. Obama would attempt to do that also, maybe Clinton would also. Mr. Obama would like to put out forces all under the United Nations I'm sure and probably our country (these hate America firsters are really something!). Wouldn't that be great!?
You know, when Mrs. Clinton ran that political add about who would you want to pick up the "red phone" if it rang in the middle of the night, I almost shrugged it off but the more I think about it I don't want either of them to answer it. I think Obama who doesn't seem to be able to do anything but talk (see his record in the senate, etc.) would literally be paralyzed and indecisive and Clinton also. Who would actually have the guts to do something in the case that action was needed. Perhaps John McCain, I don't know. It gets scary thinking about it. I'm pretty certain that Obama would not be able to decide to retaliate against a terrorist attack. Clinton may go ask Bill if she could find him....it's pretty certain that he wouldn't be in the same bed with her! I don't trust her decisions either because both her and Obama have made it pretty clear that the real enemy is the American People..... The poor terrorists would need to be met with and spoken too and given some money (our tax money of course, which is why they both want to raise our taxes) so that they (the terrorists) could feel good about themselves.....and they could murder some more Jewish people while a decision could be made. I suspect they would both call someone, he would call his Minister Mr. Wright and she would call a psychiatrist to find out what to do without harming the psyche of the terrorists. That would be a great way to handle an emergency situation wouldn't it?
You know, our people are being brainwashed so much by these socialists that many of us can't make a decision anymore lest we get sued by some damn lawyer, or break some government regulation or law. The feminists want men to act as women and women to act as men and the men want to only please the women and do what ever they seem to want and consequently creating their own doom. I think that Obama fits in somewhere along the line of a man acting as a woman. If this weren't so, wouldn't he have some kind of history? We know what Clinton is....she's out for herself and power for herself....and I don't think she'll share it with any women either. By the way, I think Speaker of the House Pelosi, knows this! Well, All I see after this election is misery for the American People. I'm really afraid of any of the candidates, but especially afraid the the best of the bad bunch, Mr. McCain will not make it. The only chance to even get real close to becoming president is to get the right person to run for Vice President with him. If he doesn't run with the right person for that position he's in very serious trouble. The only candidate that is well known enough at this time and acceptable enough by conservatives is Mitt Romney. Yes, there may be many other worthy candidates like Mr. Juliani or Senator Lieberman, but they do not have the recognition by conservatives necessary to put McCain over the top. I've been an avid political observer for years and years and I know nobody else well know enough by the regular working people who could do it. Yes, we all have out pet candidate, but realistically, only Romney is well enough accepted by the general conservative republican to fit the bill. Mr. Huckabee is not liked by conservatives well enough to fit the bill and especially as we all seen him and McCain whipsaw Romney in the primaries so that he couldn't get the votes he needed. Why even after staying until after Texas Huckabee didn't have any more delegates than Romney who bowed out early in the race.....(smart to do so, I might add.) With McCain's age he will have to have someone who people respect ready to step in if he keels over! Now, I don't look at McCain's age as a bad factor. I look at it like I did Mr. Reagan when he was elected, I think he is old enough to remember what it was like in this country when there was freedom from the government in this country. That is a good thing. Remember when President Reagan was shot? Even after that he did not attempt to take the guns away from the American people because that wasn't the way he thought. I'm not sure that McCain would think that way, but it would appear that he will be the best shot we will have this election year.
Well, enough to tonight....catch you later.
