Hello Folks:
I've just been watching some stuff on TV. One of the things I watched was Doolittle's little trip to Japan during WW II. What courage! What patriotism! What uncertainty those flyers were flying under. Are there any men like that any more? Well, of course there are. We don't see them because they do not make the big noises like their opposites do. Yes, if there are any squeaky wheels reading this, I'm talking about you......the silent majority in this country have the possibility of heroism built into them and they don't feel the need to get attention. This country might benefit some if they did speak up though. There are many volunteers for our armed services that may fit the description of Doolittle's men. Now admittedly they are all paid employees and they have much better weapons and support for their missions than Doolittle did. I would only hope that some of them would have the courage to volunteer for a mission as the men Doolittle had with him did.
I believe we should start a limited draft, though if I were a politician it would be political death to say that. I'd like to have a limited draft into the National Guard and use the Guard on our borders and give them bullets for their rifles. This would give the army some more trained men if necessary and in the meantime help support our Border Patrol people. Our standing Army, Navy, and Air force is combat ready and tested. The only one in the world at this time and the world knows this and many countries respect us only because of it. Getting it this way was not an easy task after all Bill Clinton did to destroy our armed services, bases, and Intelligence Services when he was in office.
Well, live and learn....I hope that people have learned anyway, though some seem like they are incapable of it. I watch the Hollywood movies, and the television shows. They always seem to go way out of their way to not shoot someone who is trying to kill them or have mass murderd people and by not shooting the person it seems that always several of their friends die from their inaction. This is a common theme for the action shows that I watch. It really gets to me because I suspect that is the Liberal way of thinking....not hurt a poor person because he or she had a hard time while growing up or something.....never do they seem to regret the friends or others that get killed because of their inability to pull a trigger or their inaction ... seems the villain if he or she gets hurt, does so because of an accident or because the hero can't get there in time to help save them. What trash! The truth is, some people need to be shot or gotten off the planet! Such a person could very well be the president of Iran at this time. I know anyway that he like many others in the world of extreme Islam want to kill me and mine because I'm not Muslim.
This leads us to Iraq and Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama. If either one of them gets into the White House that country may very well, be looking down a loaded gun from Syria and the Sunni Muslim terrorists, from Iran and the Shia Muslim terrorists, and the country of Turkey, who are nervous regarding the Kurdish Muslims who have some terrorists of their own. The Kurd's we know wish for a state of their own which would be Northern Iraq and some of Southern Turkey. The vacuum left behind by a withdrawal of our troops would open the door for all these things to happen and the new government and army and police in Iraq would be overwhelmed quickly and drawn into various factions there. It's a ugly recipe that we've used before, in Viet Nam when we pulled out of that war. The Communists swept in right behind us in the vacuum we left there and murdered thousands of people. Is that what these presidential candidates want to happen? They who profess to care so much about us and about the people of the world. Don't they care about the people of Iraq? Well, of course the answer is 'no.' Those kind of folks have never cared about anything but power. They look on the regular working class of people as "different" and they just don't care. Isn't it obvious to you? It is to me and they really don't care that Iraq's men, women, and children will be murdered, if our troops leave now. They keep saying that we (meaning our US citizens) want our troops out of Iraq, but is that really true? I believe that we are proud of our service men and women, and though we wouldn't want them to be hurt, we understand that they are doing a job that needs to be done. I think that our citizens realize that only we can do it. Remember, the silent majority never gets heard from in this country except in elections and sometimes not even then because they don't get signs and demonstrate and make a lot of noise. They simply get up each day and go to work and they have no time for that kind of stuff. I've always wondered how those people who demonstrate all the time get paid and still can not be working in able to go to those demonstrations, I certainly could never do it and even if I had the time off. It seems I would not have the money to get where ever I'd have needed to be to demonstrate anyway. I've come to the conclusion that those people aren't working at a job, so they have time and they are getting paid by me through the taxes I paid via some form of welfare. I don't like it! and I think those people usually are demonstrating in a manner that may get them more Socialist Programs so that they get more of my tax money.....and I don't like it more!
Now, my thoughts usually take me to our Social Security Program, which I understand will be completely dried up by the year 2021 or even sooner. I liked the idea that President Bush had a few years ago that would put some of each persons Social Security money taken from our checks into a IRA or similar fund that we could will to our heirs upon our death. Who wouldn't want that? Well, it seems that our Congress of the United States doesn't want to lose their ability of rob the Social Security funds each year so they don't want it. Something better be done about fixing that program and soon. Do you know what Clinton's and Obama's solution would be (this as I understand it) ? Raise the age for retirement, raise the total amount that could be taken out of our checks and stuff like that. That's not a very satisfying solution to me. So I'd have to work longer before being eligible to retire and more money would come from my check? If I die like my mother, uncle, two aunts, two cousins, etc. before even getting to 62 where early retirement is now, the government keeps all that money that came from my paycheck for my whole life's wages. Is that fair? Here's the elephant in the living room that nobody wants to talk about in regards to Social Security. How many people do you know who are living off of Social Security who are not old enough to draw it themselves (not 62 or older)? We know that children who's father has died usually get it until out of school as do widows after their husband dies. It was set up that way for a reason: Women didn't work at the time. They were home makers. In today's world it's no longer that way. Often the woman may get more pay than a man and they live much longer. I personally know several women whose husbands died and they then quit their jobs and lived on his Social Security benefits. All were relatively young women at the time of the husbands death (one has lived that way for at least half her life and she's 89 years of now) and two of the ones I know live with men and don't legally marry them because it would cut their Social Security payments off and they would have to go to work. Now multiply that by the ones you know that are doing this thing and you'll see why Social Security is going to collapse soon! That's not counting the Drug Addicts and alcoholics, released prisoners, mental patients, etc. (why I know several persons who are collecting "crazy money" myself) who are living off of Social Security or Security Supplemental Income funding through Social Security themselves. The Social Security Program is living hand to mouth just like I've found myself doing or paycheck to paycheck if you wish. For me to do that is a shame but for our government to run a program that way is inexcusable!
Folks it's a very critical year for our country, with the way the economy is going downhill. Our country is bailing big companies out of debt and of course it's helping some folks also, but it's doing stuff that our government was never intended to do and down the road, not very far ahead either, it's creating more problems by doing so. Your vote in this upcoming presidential election may be a critical vote. I personally don't like any of the candidates much but I'll be forced to vote Republican because I don't wish a bloodbath in Iraq. I still think that it's time to seriously consider a Nationalist Party in this country. I've started identifying myself as not Conservative anymore but Nationalist. Not because I want isolationism, or to bow out of the world political, but because I believe that our own people deserve to be able to work and raise a family in this country like myself and my parents have. I don't wish my children to have to live as if they were in a third world country. I want them to have opportunity to learn a craft and get a decent job at a decent wage and if they have ambition to start their own business. The way this country is going right now, it will be Socialist in a few years. Our jobs are going overseas where the pay to the workers is cheap. Their standard of living isn't as great as the poor of this country is now, but our standard of living will soon be sliding downhill as more and more illegal workers are working here and driving the wages down and as the better jobs continue to go overseas and more and more people want free handouts from the government (meaning taxes from me and you) or find that there just arn't any jobs to be had.
The Liberals and Socialists and environmentalists and Internationalists/Globalyst's have almost stopped the freedom of the common working person in this country now. They won't let us mine our own metals and minerals and drill our own oil and cut our own trees. We have to import everything from some other country, recently mostly from China, a Communist country. Isn't that a shame? So tell me ... all those people who want to save our land, etc., so that the environment is safe, don't they care about the environment in the countries that our materials come from? If they are so very Inter nationalistic shouldn't they care about saving the resources in those countries also? Why not stop the oil drilling off shore of Cuba? The timber cutting from wherever we get it from...Canada/Ukraine etc. How about the mining of metals from Africa and South America? Shouldn't they be worried about the environment in those countries? The reality is folks, that they don't really care about what they talk about. They wish to undermine the United States and make it into a third world nation and under United Nation control at that. There's a lot going on that we don't see, and unless we start to look, our country is doomed...... I hope that you'll start to look.
