Hi all:
Well here are my thoughts this morning. WHEN ARE WE GOING TO THROW THOSE BUSTARDS OUT OF OFFICE?!
I've developed the philosophy that two terms for any politician is enough. Get them out of the office they are in before they create so many contacts and such a vast machine that they no longer attempt to do the job we went them there to do in the first place, and start working for themselves. Yes, there are some good ones. Congressman Wally Herger of No. CA is one of the very best of them, and Duncan Hunter also of CA but even they need to look for another job. Why should any person who is elected to do a service to our state or our country need to be doing that forever? They all need to be returned to the private sector of our society in order to keep their feet on the ground......our ground...the United States of America. When two terms of office is good enough for our founding presidents (up to F. Roosevelt) and after him it was mad law, why shouldn't two terms be long enough for our Senators and Congressmen, and the same at the state level? The only thing that comes of too much experience in those positions is corruption and / or the feelings that they are better than the rest of us, and they build up a network of people like themselves, and they work against us. You see this kind of thing and this attitude every day on the news when they vote opposite in regards to things that obviously the majority of the people in this country don't want or do want.
Our people don't want to have our standard of living decreased from what it was a few years ago, but it's really starting to happen fast. We want to be able to drive our cars to work if we wish (especially we who live in rural America) (Well we all want that freedom). We want to be able to buy meat and vegetables to eat (now much of our food is being made into fuel for cars and trucks). We wish to have a job and earn our own living without government interference. We wish for government protection for our citizens instead of our citizens being the target (as in the case of some of our Marines, our policemen, and our Border Patrol personnel). We don't wish for illegal aliens from other countries to end up controlling our food prices (as is happening when we allow them to work on these big vegetable farms, meet packing plants and other factories in our country) (did you really think putting our food in gas tanks was not thought out?..... We all wish to own a home with a yard and many of us would like a garden or a front and back yard (yes, some of us have bad things happen and this may not happen but we feel that we should have the opportunity) they don't care. We only get that opportunity by working toward that goal by earning money working at a descent wage
Since all this so-called "free trade" agreements (remember before this time?) became effective has anything gotten cheaper to purchase or have any of our wages gotten higher? Of course not, just the opposite food has gotten more expensive and wages and gotten lower or have not changed while money value has gotten lower. Plus our jobs have gone overseas....why I'd love to answer the telephone for a reasonable wage and help folks with computers etc. I know that I'd learn as easy as those people who don't even understand our language. What is going on here? Are we electing people who are complete idiots to represent us in our state legislatures or in Washington DC? Of course not, these people are very smart. They are so smart that they look down on us.....maybe as defective human beings...at the very least they look as us as part of the uneducated masses. Well, and why wouldn't they? After all we keep electing them to these positions of power.....power over us. And they keep screwing with us and our laws and voting contrary to the way they know we want them to vote and backing legislation that hurts our country, our sovereignty, our culture, our ability to earn a living, and push us toward government programs that will eventually bankrupt of country. And we keep letting them. Isn't it obvious that they look down on us? That they know better on every issue than we who put them in office do.... Why keep on letting them do this to us (it's obvious they have a long-term agenda)? What is that agenda? Why don't we vote them out of office every two terms? Why don't we take charge of our own country? Do you think you are so dumb that you don't know right from wrong and that those officials are so much smarter? I don't know all the answers but I don't think they are so much smarter than I am as I can see what's happening to this country. I feel that as even I can see they are steering us toward a third world country economically, and toward losing control of our country, our borders, and attempting to make this country a two or more language/culture country, then it must be on purpose. Why would these elected officials be doing this? What's the objective? Could it be socialism or maybe even a "pure" communism (we know the last communist experiment didn't work well).
I think that these officials are doing this purposefully. I'm certain that most of them is at least as smart as I am and I can't even win a game of checkers much less even attempt to play chess. They knew, as did I, what was going to happen when they decided to make so much food into fuel. They knew that the food prices would go up (not just here, but all over the world) and they could say that now we need more foreign workers than ever....that this would give incentive to allow those illegal's a better opportunity to stay in our country (just today Pelosi and her socialistic cronies in the U.S. House of Representatives have put a agriculture amnesty rider into our bill to a spending bill for our Iraq affairs). You know this is true if you think about it because as food goes up our citizens will not be able to compete with the low wages of the illegal's and the output price of the food we eat will stay less than if our citizens do the work, as we wish for that house, the full table of food, etc. and the illegal's mostly intend to go back home someday.....and anyway they are getting benefits that we can't get in medical, school, every kind of social benefit the government has available and as this is not their country they don't care...they want as much as they can get, and we are not eligible for equal help and many of us are very reluctant to get public assistance anyway because we were raised to pay our own way (and this is OUR country). They also knew that this would not slow the rising cost of oil either. It was simply a smoke screen that the farmers would like (until they have to go to the gas stations themselves) and maybe enough people would be blinded enough to get off their backs while they continued to tear our country down another notch. It was all designed to bring the American citizen to their knees folks...praying to the government, not God.
When are we going to tell them in no uncertain terms at the ballet box that we want to drill our own oil? When are we going to insist on having clean nuclear power in this country (many European countries use it as does N. Korea or did, and even Iran is using it). Why are we the only country that is being paralyzed when it comes to energy? Our damns and water power energy is being threatened by various factions including Indian tribes and they are being listened too. Our farms in areas like the Tulelake Basin are being denied water through lawsuits by various factions, including Indian tribes. Land which has minerals on it is and has been being put into wilderness areas. We are not allowed to put motors on boats in some streams because of some "wild river" status. Our mines in Alaska are in dire jeopardy because of so-called "clean water" factions. We have lots of coal but regulations are such that it can't be expanded. Why it's not being converted into oil I don't understand because supposedly at the price of oil it's viable to do so. We can't drill for oil in many places in our own country including off the California coast, parts of Florida, in some god awful place in Alaska that nobody will never to see, even if they had lots of mosquito repellent and could afford the price of tickets (with the high price of aviation gas) or had the money to buy gas to get there in their HUV (that's assuming they can even afford to start it up anymore), etc., etc. We must let them know that the government needs to get out of our affairs or we are doomed folks.
I really think that the time to start with a program of getting rid of all these career politicians is now....and it would be a very good message this upcoming November to send to who ever wins the Presidential election. A great big defeat for incumbents in this country this November would send a powerful message to all of the politicians. Well, that's what I think anyway, and it's the way that I'm going to vote... I will of course vote as Conservative as I possibly can but you can bet that I'm going to be as informed as possible about who I vote for. God Bless you all, and take care now....
