Hi all:
Well, it's been a couple of weeks now since Israel was attacked by terrorists and of course the whole of Europe blames Israel! Or at least wants to stop the conflict before Israel can root out the terrorists.....poor terrorists....poor Lebanese who harbor or let these Hezbollah terrorists control what should be their country. When will these people wake up? These terrorists who profess to be Moslem don't think twice about killing or getting other Moslems killed by themselves or their actions. They even love to hurt, maim, and kill children....no other country or organization does this....only the terrorists...mostly Moslem children.....and when they don't do it themselves, they hide behind the innocent women and children......they'd love to kill our children also.....this always hits the headlines of liberal newspapers like the New York Times, etc. It's poor children, stop the shooting, bombing, retaliation, etc. not stop the terrorists. Mr. Bush said that Israel has a right to defend itself and you know it! I only hope that when we are next attacked that we have the guts to defend ourselves again as Israel has. Many in this country seem to only have guts when they are trying to tear this country down and then it would seem only because they know that we have freedom because of the sacrifice of our armed forces have given it to us and kept it safe for us and "them." If they were to face the response that people in many other countries face for that kind of action, they would not be so brave.
Are we going to let Iran develop nuclear weapons? Do we want a world where these terrorists have nuclear weapons and of course fanatics would never think twice about using them. Who do they hate most, Israel or the United States? It could be a gamble as to who would get the bomb first. With our borders wide open, we are very vulnerable. What's the matter with our president, the same president who is trying to protect us and defeat terrorism that he won't block these illegal's coming across our borders? What does he get out of it - what's his agenda in this.... I can't figure it out. I'm behind President Bush 100% on his fight against terrorism, but his spending, his reluctance to send any illegal back where they came from and block their return is frustrating!
You know, we hear about us being a "welfare state" or about welfare families, or about generations of welfare families. We are familiar with the fight to get people off of welfare. It seems to be working somewhat as people are being forced to work some. But what about the fact that it's a welfare world and the United States is the country paying the world welfare! Yes, we are giving money left and right to countries who hate us for it but still take the money, then use it for personal gain and to hurt us. Why would any person, much less a country, be so stupid? Are we insane? You know that after this Israel conflict with those terrorists in Lebanon, that we'll no doubt up the funding for Lebanon. Why do we give them any money at all? Why all the other money around the world? Why not get them off the welfare as we are doing with our own citizens....? Why do they deserve to get MY tax dollar? I don't remember telling our Federal Government that they could do this with it. It is to run our own country, not to be used as an effort to control, "help", intimidate, buy, coerce, or whatever some other country. If these countries need help private companies, or private organizations do that job well enough and the money given them by individuals is for that purpose. Lets get the world off of the US Government tit!
Now, lets look at the United Nations. Israel blew up a listening post they had in Lebanon. I've no secret knowledge, but does anyone doubt that the people there were helping the terrorists? I imagine that this is the real story, or they were letting the terrorists fire a few missiles from a pretty safe haven. I applaud Israel for the courage to take them out if this was the case... The best thing about the United Nations is our representative there Mr. John Bolton. Mr. Bolton is the right man at the right time for us. We need more like him.... Because of his outspoken patriotism and courage, I'm betting that the far-left Liberals and internationalists will do every thing in their power to try to get him out of that position. He's quite a man. I wonder if he wants to become President of the United States......? He would certainly get my vote!
Why did the courts let that killer woman, Andrea Yates, who killed her five children, off by reason of insanity? Why did she cry over the decision? She certainly does know what she did but she's afraid to face those children in the afterlife. Why should we as taxpayers support her for the rest of her life? If the courts don't want to put her out of her misery, they should put her on the chain-gang and make her work to earn her miserable living, while letting her watch reruns of the trial, with photo's of her murdered children, every night! Keeping her alive is not good for anyone, including her. If she ever comes out of her medicine induced haze she will probably try to kill herself.....as she should!
Folks, we are at war! War with the Moslem terrorists, war with our court system, war with the illegal's coming across our borders. We need to realize this. We are at war with radicals who want to destroy our marriage system, our family values, and even our very system of work for our citizens (they send all the work overseas which weakens or may break the unions and hire illegal's to drive the value and pay of the jobs here in our country down). Companies, courts, and many politicians have an internationalist viewpoint. They no longer think of our United States as their country. They think of it as just a country. Their freedom, personal and freedom to work/own property/own their own businesses, etc. is being taken too lightly. Many have never had to work for anything - they've never had to strive for their livelihood (even the poor have been getting government assistance of some kind. I've found out that many take more home from the government assistance than I do working a 40 hour week). The WW I, WW II, Korean War veteran's who really know pride for their country through actual service to it and have the pride of winning, are mostly dead or dying. These are the ones who really value our freedoms. The Viet Nom Vets mostly look at it differently. Look at Mr. Murtha and his reaction to our war on terror for example....though an honored vet, he can't get defeat out of his mind, nor retreat. Folks, I'll say it again, we need the draft, even if limited in some manner. We need young men to have something to strive for and become proud of again. To me this is the most obvious way to accomplish it. Something has to be done if this country is to survive in this crazy world of today.
Well, next time.....
